When you're on the Discover screen, you'll see one profile at a time. Swipe right (or tap the heart) if you're interested — that's called a Call Light. Swipe left (or tap the X) to pass. You'll only see each person once, so take your time before you decide.

That's normal, not a bug — it's how most dating apps work. Once you've made a decision, that profile won't come back around, so your Discover deck always has new people instead of repeats. If you passed on someone by mistake, tap the undo (↶) button right after — it brings back your most recent pass. It only works for the very last one, so use it right away.

A Call Light is what happens when you swipe right on someone — it lets them know you're interested, the same way you'd hit a call light for attention. If they swiped right on you too, it becomes a match and you can start talking.

Break Room is where your conversations with your matches happen — think of it as the messaging/chat part of the app. Once you match with someone, you'll find them in Break Room.

The Nurse's Station is built exclusively for verified healthcare professionals. Verification is how we confirm everyone on the app is who they say they are, using your license information. You won't be visible to other members in Discover until you're verified.

My Badge is your profile and account hub — it's where you manage your info, check your verification status, see Shift Handoff updates, and find settings like pausing your account or turning on notifications.

Founding Members are among the first people to join The Nurse's Station. It's a badge of honor marking you as part of the very first wave — it doesn't expire or change how the app works for you.

No. Message content is never visible to admin, ever — only aggregate counts (like how many messages were sent overall) for app statistics. What you say in Break Room stays between you and your match.

No. Passes are completely private — the other person is never notified and never finds out.

You can pause your account any time from My Badge. While paused, you won't show up in anyone's Discover deck, and you can resume whenever you're ready — nothing about your profile or matches is lost.

On their profile, there's a report option where you can tell us what happened. Our team reviews every report.

From My Badge, tap "Turn On Notifications" and allow the permission your browser asks for. Once it's on, you'll get notified for new Call Lights, new matches, and new messages — even when the app is closed.
